$30M Settlement Approved In Avacor Class Action

Law360, New York (September 17, 2010, 4:29 PM EDT) -- A California state court has approved a $30 million settlement agreement between executives at Global Vision Products Inc. and a class of plaintiffs that claimed the company falsely billed its hair loss treatment system as “all natural” and “herbal.”

The California Superior Court greenlighted the settlement Thursday, allowing all California residents who purchased GVP’s Avacor hair regrowth products prior to April 12, 2007, to be compensated from the settlement fund.
