Egg Plaintiffs Win Permission To Inspect Iowa Farms

Law360, New York (September 20, 2010, 2:48 PM EDT) -- A federal court has granted an emergency motion that would allow a putative class of plaintiffs to enter, inspect, test and preserve evidence from two Iowa egg farms accused of selling shell eggs linked to hundreds of cases of salmonella contamination.

Judge James F. Holderman signed off on the emergency motion Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
