Nationwide Employees File FLSA Suit Over Training OT

Law360, New York (September 21, 2010, 3:13 PM EDT) -- Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. has been hit with a proposed collective action alleging the insurance giant repeatedly violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by refusing to pay time-and-a-half overtime rates to employees in its Agency Capital Builder program.

The complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, also names Nationwide’s sister company Nationwide Insurance Co. of America.
