DRAM Direct Buyers' Counsel Seek $9M In Fees

Law360, New York (September 22, 2010, 6:44 PM EDT) -- Counsel for direct purchasers in the multidistrict litigation over alleged price-fixing in the dynamic random access memory market have asked a court to award them $9.3 million in attorneys' fees for their work in securing settlements with Mitsubishi Electric Corp., Hitachi Ltd. and Toshiba Corp.

In a filing Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, the attorneys said they were seeking 25 percent of the $37.2 million in total settlements with those companies.
