Senate Panel Clears 2 US Attys, 7 Judges

Law360, New York (September 23, 2010, 3:00 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee voted Thursday to advance two individuals nominated to serve as U.S. attorneys in Tennessee and Florida, as well as seven federal judiciary nominees, some of whom have been awaiting confirmation for more than a year.

Committee members unanimously cleared William C. Killian, nominated to serve as U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and Robert O'Neill, nominated as the U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Florida.
