Rolex, Other Watch Cos. Sued Over 'Red Gold' Mark

Law360, New York (September 24, 2010, 4:24 PM EDT) -- More than a dozen major watch brands, including Louis Vuitton, Rolex and the Swatch Group, have been hit with an infringement suit from Chris Aire Fine Jewelry & Timepieces owner Solid 21 Inc. over the use of its signature “Red Gold” trademark.

Solid 21 filed a complaint for equitable and injunctive relief, compensatory and monetary damages, costs and attorneys' fees in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Wednesday.
