3 Bids Lodged To End F-16 Parts Contract Dispute

Law360, New York (September 29, 2010, 2:01 PM EDT) -- The United States, L-3 Communications Corp. and Lockheed Martin Corp. have asked a federal court for judgment in L-3's suit accusing the U.S. Air Force of improperly awarding a single-source contract to Lockheed Martin for an F-16 simulator program.

All three parties lodged sealed motions for judgment on the administrative record in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims on Tuesday, seeking an end to L-3's suit demanding an opportunity to compete for the contract that Lockheed Martin won in December.
