MPRI Drops Protest To DynCorp's $44M Army Deal

Law360, New York (September 29, 2010, 2:41 PM EDT) -- MPRI Inc., a division of defense contractor L-3 Services Inc., has withdrawn its protest to a $44 million agreement between rival DynCorp International LLC and the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center for defense program support in Afghanistan.

In a motion for voluntary dismissal filed Tuesday in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, MPRI attorney W. Jay DeVecchio of Jenner & Block LLP withdrew the complaint, filed earlier in September, before the government had even responded to the claims.
