Chicago Garbage Co. Exec Guilty Of Bid-Rigging

Law360, New York (September 29, 2010, 1:43 PM EDT) -- A federal jury in Chicago has found Urban Services of America Inc. co-owner Steven Fenzl guilty of bid-rigging after his company won a $1.7 million contract to repair plastic garbage carts used by residents of the Windy City.

Fenzl, 42, was convicted Tuesday on four counts of mail fraud and wire fraud in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and Judge Ruben Castillo set a Jan. 13 sentencing date.
