Two Classes OK'd In EBay False Ad, Contract Suits

Law360, New York (October 1, 2010, 5:48 PM EDT) -- A federal court has certified classes in two suits targeting eBay Inc. over delays in its online auction listing process, one alleging false advertising and the other asserting breach of contract.

The classes, approved Thursday in a single order in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, include eBay sellers who allegedly lost money when their products' listing periods were shortened due to administrative delays.
