Turbine Maker Seeks To Toss Qui Tam FCA Claims

Law360, New York (October 1, 2010, 7:41 PM EDT) -- Chromalloy Gas Turbine Co. is seeking to dismiss the qui tam claims of a whistleblower who accuses the company of defrauding the government by performing inadequate repairs on airplane parts and charging full price, for a total of $47.5 million in improper sales.

In a motion filed Thursday to the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Oklahoma, Chromalloy said the plaintiff had signed a separation agreement after filing the suit that prevented him from suing the company.
