WCC Seeks Judgment In $36M Barracks Spat

Law360, New York (October 4, 2010, 5:51 PM EDT) -- Watterson Construction Co. has asked a court for judgment on the administrative record in a suit that accuses the U.S. government of improperly rejecting a $36 million bid to build an Army barracks in Alaska.

In a motion and memorandum lodged Friday, WCC told the U.S. Court of Federal Claims that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers had erred in denying the company’s contract bid on the ground that it missed a filing deadline, and asked the court for declaratory relief.
