Twin City Off Hook For Defense Of Limo Parts Co.

Law360, New York (October 4, 2010, 2:26 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has granted Twin City Fire Insurance Co. a win in a suit brought by limousine parts seller Modern Technologies Inc. over coverage for underlying breach of contract and antitrust cases, holding that Modern Technologies forfeited coverage by notifying the insurer of its claims too late.

Judge Joseph Rodriguez of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey signed off on an opinion and order granting Twin City summary judgment Thursday, ruling that the policy at issue was a "claims made" policy....
