Lerach Dumped As Lead Counsel In Comverse Suit

Law360, New York (March 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- High profile securities class action firm Lerach, Coughlin, Stoia, Geller, Rudman & Robbins LLP has been dumped as lead plaintiff counsel in a securities fraud class action—just days after a judge tossed it from a separate case.

Following the firm’s removal from an action against energy company Halliburton in the wake of allegations attorney William Lerach paid kickbacks to plaintiffs, a federal judge has overturned a magistrate’s ruling that the firm lead a securities suit against Comverse.
