Bottling Co. Denied Quick Win In $3M Army Contract Suit

Law360, New York (October 5, 2010, 4:08 PM EDT) -- A water bottling company has lost its bid for summary judgment in a case challenging the U.S. Army's termination of a $3 million contract to build a bottling plant in Iraq for failure to deliver.

In a Sept. 22 ruling made public Tuesday, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals ruled that American AquaSource Inc. had failed to show that the Army's termination of the contract was unreasonable.
