Samsung Faces Class Action Over TV Defect

Law360, New York (October 6, 2010, 1:26 PM EDT) -- Consumers have slapped Samsung Electronics America Inc. with a proposed class action alleging its plasma, liquid crystal display and digital light processing televisions have a defect that keeps them from turning on when prompted and causes them to shut down unexpectedly during operation.
