U.S. Aerospace Protest Of USAF Bid Rejection Tossed

Law360, New York (October 6, 2010, 7:49 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office tossed U.S. Aerospace Inc.’s protest concerning the military’s rejection of the company’s $30 billion bid to supply in-flight refueling tankers to the U.S. Air Force Wednesday, affirming that the proposal was late by a matter of minutes.

The decision, handed down by GAO General Counsel Lynn H. Gibson, rejected U.S. Aerospace’s claims that Air Force personnel unintentionally delayed the messenger carrying the bid.
