Littler Sues Japonais Operator To Get Paid

Law360, New York (October 7, 2010, 4:12 PM EDT) -- Littler Mendelson PC has withdrawn from defending Geisha NYC LLC — the company that operates New York restaurant Japonais — against wage-and-hour allegations and lodged a breach of contract suit claiming it is owed $179,000 in legal fees.

The firm incurred expenses of about $179,000 while representing Geisha from May 2009 to August 2010, but no part of that has been paid, according to Littler Mendelson's suit, filed Wednesday in the New York County Supreme Court.
