Northwest Judge To Rule On Hedge Fund Disclosure

Law360 (March 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The judge for Northwest Airlines Corp.’s Chapter 11 case said Wednesday he plans to make a final decision by the end of the week on whether a group of hedge funds must disclose trading data that they claim should be kept private.

Bankruptcy attorneys and hedge funds are anxiously awaiting the ruling by Judge Allan L. Gropper of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York because it could affect the future role of hedge funds in bankruptcy cases.
