Geico Hit With Consumer Action Over UIM Coverage

Law360, New York (October 7, 2010, 2:00 PM EDT) -- Geico General Insurance Co. has been slapped with a putative consumer class action accusing it of deceptively selling car insurance policies without obtaining customers' written consent for the policies' lower levels of uninsured/ underinsured motorist coverage as required by New Jersey law.
