US Loses Bid To Toss Contractor's $7M Fee Claim

Law360, New York (October 7, 2010, 3:16 PM EDT) -- A judge has denied the federal government's attempt to toss a contractor's claim for a $7 million fee in connection with a U.S. Air Force security system contract.

Judge Emily C. Hewitt of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims on Wednesday rejected the government's argument that the complaint of System Planning Corp., which sought an additional, negotiated fee over that project, came after the expiration of what should have been a six-year statute of limitations.
