Judge Rules Ex-Raytheon Worker's Suit Can Proceed

Law360, New York (October 8, 2010, 5:15 PM EDT) -- A federal court has indicated that most of a former Raytheon Co. employee’s qui tam suit alleging the defense contractor falsely billed the government more than $1 million for incentive bonuses to certain executives and managers could remain intact.

Judge Douglas Woodlock of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts advised parties that Robert Dyer’s two counts alleging Raytheon made false claims were likely to go forward, while his count alleging that the company retaliated against him for raising concerns over the alleged violations...
