Radio Host, Partners Arrested For Alleged $7M Fraud

Law360, New York (October 8, 2010, 1:56 PM EDT) -- Authorities have arrested a syndicated talk radio host and two of her partners at an investment firm for their roles in a scheme that allegedly ripped off investors for nearly $7 million.

Government agents on Thursday picked up Barbra Alexander, host of the financial radio show MoneyDots, along with Beth Pina and Michael Swanson, after a federal grand jury indicted the trio in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on counts of mail fraud, wire fraud, securities fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy,...
