Raytheon Smacked With Calif. Wage Action

Law360, New York (October 8, 2010, 3:40 PM EDT) -- A former Raytheon Co. employee has slapped the defense contractor with a proposed class action accusing it of not properly keeping a timekeeping system and failing to compensate nonunion workers for overtime.

Stevie Bethley said in his lawsuit filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California that Raytheon told its employees not to record hours worked in excess of eight in a workday and 40 hours in a workweek to avoid paying them overtime.
