Apple's Summary Determination Bid Nixed In 337 Spat

Law360, New York (October 11, 2010, 8:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission administrative law judge overseeing a probe into whether Apple Inc. and Research In Motion Ltd. ran afoul of U.S. trade law by importing and selling phones and wireless devices that infringe an Eastman Kodak Co. patent has rejected Apple's bid for summary determination of noninfringement.

Chief Administrative Law Judge Paul J. Luckern denied Apple's motion in August, but a public version of the ruling didn't appear on the ITC docket until Sept. 30.
