Asiana Cuts $21M Deal In Price-Fixing MDL

Law360, New York (October 12, 2010, 4:13 PM EDT) -- Asiana Airlines Inc. has agreed to pay up to $21 million in cash and travel coupons to settle a multidistrict class action accusing the company and Korean Air Lines Co. Ltd. of fixing the prices of fares between the U.S. and Korea.

Plaintiffs in the case filed a motion Saturday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California seeking approval for the proposed settlement, in which Asiana is also agreeing to cooperate on discovery.
