Fed. Circ. Won't Review Sprint's $2.8M Patent Suit Loss

Law360, New York (October 14, 2010, 12:20 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has declined to re-examine its earlier ruling backing a $2.78 million verdict against Sprint Nextel Corp. and finding that Enovsys LLC did have standing to bring claims related to two patents for a cell phone privacy system.

In an order dated Oct. 8, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit declined a combined petition from Sprint for a rehearing by the panel that had initially handled the case and for a rehearing en banc.
