GAO Denies TCBA's Loan Review Bid Protest

Law360, New York (October 14, 2010, 4:36 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has rejected the protest of TCBA Watson Rice LLP over the award of a loan review services contract, finding that the Small Business Administration didn't err in determining that the firm didn't have the necessary staff to perform the work.

The GAO disagreed with the firm's contention that the SBA unreasonably determined the number of weekly reviews the firm could perform with its staff and the total number of weeks it could conduct the reviews.
