Hollinger Files Financial Reports, But Future Bleak

Law360, New York (March 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Hollinger Inc., the former hub of Lord Conrad Black’s media empire, filed a number of financial statements Thursday. But the disclosures only caused more questions about the company’s future on the eve of Black’s trial.

Not only is Hollinger in non-compliance with some covenants while being ensnared in investigations and legal proceedings, it is also dealing with the suspension of dividends by the Sun-Times and the decline in the trading value of the Sun-Times’ Class A Shares.
