UN Urges More Oversight Of US Security Contractors

Law360, New York (October 19, 2010, 2:57 PM EDT) -- An expert body with the U.N. has called for more stringent oversight of U.S. private security contractors in Afghanistan, describing a highly critical U.S. Senate report on the role and oversight of such contractors as a “step in the right direction” but adding that more was needed to address the problems it raised.
