Hartford Seeks To Avoid Covering Lighting Co. IP Suit

Law360, New York (October 20, 2010, 1:53 PM EDT) -- Hartford Casualty Insurance Co. has asked a federal court to declare that it need not defend or indemnify Energy Focus Inc. in a dispute with a rival over alleged trade secrets misappropriation and contract breaches during the bidding process for a $1.4 million contract to retrofit submarines for the U.S. Navy.
