Aegis Mortgage Ch. 11 Liquidation Plan OK'd

Law360, New York (October 20, 2010, 3:26 PM EDT) -- Aegis Mortgage Corp. gained court approval of its Chapter 11 liquidation plan Wednesday, ending an uncharacteristically cooperative bankruptcy for a mortgage lender capsized by the subprime crisis.

Judge Brendan L. Shannon signed off on the plan in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware after the debtors resolved objections by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service and two county tax authorities in Texas.
