US To Sell $60 Billion In Aircraft, Arms To Saudi Arabia

Law360, New York (October 21, 2010, 3:29 PM EDT) -- The federal government plans to sell up to $60 billion worth of aircraft and other defense items to Saudi Arabia, with Boeing Co., Lockheed Martin Corp. and General Electric Co. as the prime contractors, the U.S. State Department has confirmed.

The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Security Cooperation Agency on Wednesday notified Congress of the proposed package, which appears to be the largest arms sale in U.S. history.
