Union Brief Allowed In Butterball Don, Doff Case

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 5:03 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has allowed United Food and Commercial Workers to weigh in on an appellate challenge brought by Butterball LLC turkey processing plant workers, accepting an amicus curiae brief disputing a district court finding that the union had acquiesced to the policy of not paying workers for donning and doffing protective gear.
