Gas Utility Fails To Revive Suit Over Faulty Valves

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 6:17 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has declined to revive a suit alleging Mueller Co. Ltd. breached a warranty when it sold South Jersey Gas Co. faulty high-pressure shutoff valves that caused property damage following a gas line explosion.

Judge Robert B. Kugler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey ruled Wednesday that South Jersey did not present any new evidence suggesting he should reconsider his previous award of summary judgment to the defendants.
