Cap Wireless Emerges Unscathed From Patent Row

Law360 (March 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Cap Wireless, an amplifier subsystems designer, can breathe a sigh of relief now that a U.S. District Court has granted it summary judgment of noninfringement after an 18-month patent wrangling over communications technology with rival Wavestream Corp.

Magistrate Judge Paul L. Abrams ruled for the Central District of Calif. that Cap did not violate two patents owned by the University of Calif. and exclusively licensed to San Dimas-based Wavestream Corp.
