Blackwater Successor Wants To Toss $1.2B FCA Suit

Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 6:58 PM EDT) -- The company formerly known as Blackwater Worldwide has asked a federal judge to toss a $1.2 billion False Claims Act suit brought by two former employees on the grounds that the plaintiffs failed to file their second amended complaint under seal as required by the FCA.

Blackwater Worldwide, now known as Xe Services LLC, as well as fellow defendants Blackwater Security Consulting LLC, Greystone Ltd., The Prince Group, Blackwater founder Erik Prince and U.S. Training Center Inc. lodged their motion for judgment on the pleadings Friday...
