Tribune Folds Settlements Into New Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 5:22 PM EDT) -- The Tribune Co. has filed a new reorganization plan that incorporates settlements reached last month among the bankrupt publisher, unsecured creditors, senior lenders Oaktree Capital Management LP and Angelo Gordon & Co. LP, and senior loan agent JPMorgan Chase Bank NA.

Chicago-based publisher Tribune Co. filed the joint plan of reorganization Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, incorporating agreements reached during court-ordered mediation last month.
