Construction Co. Protests Ft. Benning Project Award

Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 1:56 PM EDT) -- A Georgia construction company has sued the federal government over contracts in Georgia and South Carolina, claiming the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers did not give a good explanation for its decision to award a multimillion-dollar project to a higher bidder.

ACC Construction Co. Inc. on Friday filed the bid protest in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, demanding that the Corps award it the contract for the project and provide a “meaningful debriefing” explaining why it lost despite its lower bid.
