Sillybandz Maker Targets Wal-Mart For Infringement

Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 3:53 PM EDT) -- The maker of the popular brightly colored rubber band accessory Sillybandz has launched a suit accusing retail giant Wal-Mart Stores Inc. of selling products that rip off its unique design and packaging.

BCP Imports LLC lodged its complaint for copyright infringement and unfair competition against Wal-Mart and fashion jewelry supplier Crimzon Rose International LLC on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
