Fulcra Challenges SOS Contract For Iraq Services

Law360, New York (October 27, 2010, 12:29 PM EDT) -- Fulcra Worldwide LLC has sued the U.S. government to recover a multimillion-dollar contract to provide communication services to U.S. forces in Iraq, claiming that a rival’s winning proposal, which ousts Fulcra from its current position, drastically lowballed the costs.

The complaint, filed Tuesday in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, alleges that U.S. Central Command improperly awarded the contract to SOS International Ltd., which unrealistically undervalued the costs of the job, proposing a bid 70 percent less than Fulcra’s submission.
