Maine Senators Fight Cuts To Shipbuilding Programs

Law360, New York (October 28, 2010, 6:41 PM EDT) -- Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Olympia J. Snowe, R-Maine, are urging the Senate to reinstate full funding for two U.S. Navy shipbuilding programs after a U.S. House of Representatives subcommittee slashed their budgets by $162 million.

In an open letter sent Tuesday to Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Sen. Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii, and ranking member Sen.
