Class Actions Say Chicken Co. Plucked Pay

Law360, New York (March 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Assembly line workers are piling up class action suits accusing chicken preparation company Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. of violating labor laws by not paying for all performed duties and overtime.

Ten federal class action lawsuits filed from across the nation have alleged that the U.S.’ largest producer of poultry products is violating the Fair Labor Standards Act.
