Sheridan Wins Fight To Retain $16M Hangar Contract

Law360, New York (November 2, 2010, 5:31 PM EDT) -- The Sheridan Corp. has prevailed in a fight with the U.S. over a $16 million contract to build a military airplane hangar, preventing the government from resoliciting proposals following a competitor's objection to Sheridan’s selection for the job.

Judge Thomas C. Wheeler of the U.S. Court for Federal Claims on Monday rejected the government’s bid for judgment and instead backed Sheridan, barring the U.S. from reneging on its contract decision and going through with the selection process again.
