Alleged Insider Trader Gets Own Trial In Dick's Case

Law360, New York (November 2, 2010, 2:38 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government has decided to hold separate trials for an investor accused of insider trading and two former Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. executives accused of extorting businesses out of millions of dollars, ruling that the charges are not connected, even if some of the defendants are.

Prosecutors agreed to hold two trials — one starting Nov. 15 for the alleged insider trader, Gary Camp, and another starting April 4 for the former Dick's executives, Joseph Queri Jr. and Benjamin Viloski.
