Northwest Trustee Backs Calls For Examiner

Law360, New York (March 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Trustee overseeing Northwest Airlines’ bankruptcy case has thrown her support behind a group of creditors demanding the court appoint an examiner to investigate merger possibilities.

In her response to the March 6 motion by the ad hoc equity committee seeking an examiner, acting U.S. Trustee Diana Adams told the court the appointment was warranted in the case.
