2nd Circ. Shuts Down Del Monte Pineapple Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (November 3, 2010, 5:20 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Wednesday shot down a bid by retailers and consumers to revive a multidistrict litigation that accuses Del Monte Fresh Produce Co. of using sham patent litigation to form an illegal monopoly in the market for extra sweet pineapple.
