Linc Loses Fight For $300M Army Project

Law360, New York (November 8, 2010, 12:32 PM EST) -- A federal judge has cut down Linc Government Services LLC’s challenge to the U.S. Army’s decision to grant a $300 million contract for counterinsurgency operations in Iraq to a rival security firm.

In an opinion published Friday, Judge Lawrence J. Block of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims rebuffed Linc’s lawsuit, concluding that the Army fairly assessed the competing bids for the intelligence-gathering contract before going with McNeil Technologies Inc.
