High Court Won't Hear Calif. Group's Health Law Fight

Law360, New York (November 8, 2010, 12:16 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court rejected on Monday the Pacific Justice Institute's petition to review President Barack Obama's health care reform law before a federal court of appeals has weighed in on the conservative legal defense group's constitutional challenge.

The Pacific Justice Institute and former California state lawmaker Steve Baldwin had sought review of a federal judge's decision to dismiss their suit over the individual insurance mandate in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
