Navy Defends Decision To Nix $15M Drug Test Deal

Law360, New York (November 9, 2010, 3:03 PM EST) -- Claiming cost savings as a rational basis for canceling a solicitation, the federal government has fired back in a bid protest by RN Expertise Inc., which sued the U.S. Department of Defense in October 2009 for withdrawing a $15 million contract for drug testing services and handing the work over to a rival.
